Congratulation and good luck softball team as they compete at the CCS Softball tournament in Salinas. They ranked 3rd in the De Anza league and 12th in CCS. The reward for winning the El Camino League was the promotion to the De Anza League.
The team is young and has a bright future for several years. These athletes started out in Little League or played travel ball. Their skills are furthered improved as they play high school softball.
Members of the team feel that the could have done better and that they didn’t perform to their full potential. Due to external issues, some players lost confidence.
Celine Kealiinomhomoku, starting 3rd baseman, said, “Next year we’ll have an even better season. We’ll win De Anza League! Of course, I want my senior year to be great!”
