Currently, Fremont High School has a 3 year Social Studies Program. The department has been working on writing skills throughout the grade levels. It is our intention to develop foundational skills in the 10th grade and continue to develop them as students matriculate through our program. Fremont High School has an open AP enrollment system. It is suggested that students who are willing to work with good effort and have strong study habits enter the Advanced Placement courses. These AP classes offer the rigor of a college-level class. At the end of these courses, students should take the AP test. If they pass this test, they can receive college credit.
