Our Teachers

Our teaching staff is a particular strength at Fremont High School.  Their level of dedication, skill, and investment in our students is impressive and goes well beyond what would normally be expected. FHS's partnership with the Stanford Teacher Education Program yields many benefits to both campuses and many of the Stanford student teachers elect to stay at Fremont after their FHS student teaching is completed.  In fact, Fremont is often the school most requested by newly hired teachers in the Fremont Union High School District. 

 

“My student teaching placement, via the STEP program at Stanford, was at Fremont HS during the ‘07-’08 year.  I knew within a few weeks that I wanted to stay here.  I had a fantastic working relationship with my co-operating teacher, I was immediately embraced by the math dept., and the students represented the real kind of diversity that makes for an exciting educational experience for the students and teachers.  There is a positive energy that I haven’t experienced at other schools, and as much as it is an oxymoron, I feel ‘at home’ when I’m at work.”
