The Future for Fremont

MTG012010-1.jpg

This is a virtual birds-eye view of the effect of the outdoor renovations when they will be completed.  Please, if you wish to have a say in the renovations and present your own ideas, go to the Neighbor's Meetings that are held at the district's prerogative.  The last Neighbor's meeting was the 20th of January.

Thank You California Voters!!

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are we using the Bond Measure B money for track renovations as opposed to other things, such as teacher's salaries?

By law, we are only allowed to use this money for projects and technology, and the best use for the money right now is the track renovation. We have other things that we will be doing in the future with this money, such as adding in solar shade structures in the staff and student parking lots. We will also be renovating our kitchens.

About the Bond Measure B Project

Bond measure B was voted on by local taxpayers last election. It authorized funding for school construction projects in the Fremont Union High School District. This summer, 2009, all five of our schools will be beggining our construction project. Fremont High School will be undergoing track renovation. We intend to resurface the track with an artificial surface. We also intend to resurface as many of the fields as we can with artificial turf. This project will not affect the normal operation of any after-school sports.
