The Homepage of the Fremont High School Alumni Association
Dear Alumni and Friends of Fremont,
The Fremont High School Alumni Association is proud to celebrate its 54th year, and we look forward to another wonderful year of superb activities with the alumni of Fremont High, the Friends of Fremont and Fremont's current students. Each year, our dinner/dance reunion, our barbecue reunion and our Harry Holstein Memorial golf tournament are exciting and successful fund raising events, generating revenue for our FHSAA scholarship fund as well as renewing friendships among all alumni. This November we also look forward to our ninth annual fundraising event at Armadillo Willy's restaurant in Sunnyvale. We thank you for your continued participation in all our events.
The fundraising events for 2012 are:
-
11th Annual Harry Holstein Memorial Golf Tournament (August 17, 2012)
-
17th Annual Barbecue Reunion (August 18, 2012)
-
54th Annual Dinner and Dance Reunion (October 13, 2012)
-
Armadillo Willy's Night Out (November 13, 2012)
We welcome you, your family and friends to join us at our upcoming events. Meet new friends or renew old friendships. We welcome your attendance at the Fremont High School Alumni Association meetings. We always welcome new ideas as it makes our mission more successful. Volunteers are essential to the success of the Fremont High School Alumni Association, and we thank you. Our meetings are the first Wednesday of each month January through May and July through November, at 7p.m. in the Fremont Union High School District Office.
We encourage you to either renew or start your membership to the Alumni Association. Annual membership is $10 and life membership is $75 for an individual, $100 for a couple. Your membership ensures you will receive our newsletters and mailings.
Our Historian is also always collecting stories from years past as well as interviewing current students to get a perspective of life on campus today. Your membership, dues, signing up for one of our events gets you the collection of stories she has written. They include the story of the Wigwam coin / token. Was this around during your days at FHS? There is a painting that hangs today in the FHS student center...we have the story of who painted it, when and where it was painted. How about the tornado in Sunnyvale. Alumni remember that day for sure! And, we have a story about a lost (and then found) 1968 yearbook and how the territory of Guam played a part. This story began in December 2006.... We have a collection of stories from alumni of past that worked in the orchards around our community. And so many more stories. Send in your membership dues and or make a donation and get started reading these wonderful stories today!!
We greatly appreciate all dues and donations, and your participation in our annual events. Thanking you in advance for your continued dedication to the Fremont High School Alumni Association and its goals.
Sincerely,
Anton Jelesko - President, FHSAA

Susan Kerrigan Rynearson - Secretary / Historian, FHSAA
