The PTSA plays an important and collaborative role at Fremont High School.  It is a great way for parents to get involved at school (and parent involvement is just as important in high school as it is in elementary school).  The Fremont PTSA provides:

  • A communication link between parents and the school
  • Support for many school activities
  • Opportunities for parents to get connected to the school and its staff
  • Important services to students
  • Parent education on a number of areas affecting teenagers and their families

Some of the Benefits of joining the PTSA include:

  • Having a voice in your school community
  • Establishing relationships with school administrators, teachers, parents and students
  • Gaining information concerning legislative issues affecting your child’s education
  • Getting the Daily Bulletin emailed to you directly

Come Join Us!

The best way to hear about parent activities and see how you can help our school is to register at our free online PTSA site, called “PTO Manager.” Signing up takes just a couple of minutes and ensures that we will be in good communication. For instructions, go to If you need help, contact

The Executive Board meets monthly and all parents, students and staff are welcome to attend.

Three times each year we will hold a General Association meeting.  Again, all parents, students and staff are welcome to attend. These three meetings are scheduled for Thursday evenings.

You can join the PTSA at any time. You can download a membership here.  The cost to join is $10 per member.  These membership dues are used to fund the programs offered by PTSA throughout the year.

Donations are of course always welcome ! You can now donate online with any Credit Card or PayPal Account by clicking here.

Fremont High PTSA is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Sixth District Legislative Round Table

Thursday, November 12

7:00 to 8:30 pm

This year's Legislative Round Table will explore three topics:

  • Adequate Funding: Even with the Prop 30 taxes, our funding is below average, and California's schools rank in the bottom 5. And those begin to expire in 2016! How can we restore long-term increased stable funding for our children's schools?

No great economy ever grew by disinvesting in education.

-- Delaine Eastin, former State Superintendent of Public Instruction

  • Investing in Early Childhood Education: $1 invested in early education saves $4 -$9 later. How can we increase accesss to high quality, affordable, early learning?

Children who enter school with poor academic skills rarely catch up; performance in the early years of school is highly predictive of achievement much later.
-- Deborah Stipek, Judy Koch Professor of Education, Stanford

  • Childhood Hunger in Santa Clara County: 1 out of every 3 children in Santa Clara County goes to bed hungry every night. How can we address this dilemma, in the heart of one of the wealthiest areas in the entire country?

One out of three children in Silicon Valley suffers from hunger.

-- Second Harvest Food Bank

To inform our discussion, please [click here] for more on these topics. What can be done legislatively, or on the Nov. 2016 ballot? Come discuss these topics with our State Senators & Assemblymembers!
