To foster and support academic success, as well as keep students safe to and from school, the following requirements will be enforced: - No inappropriate language, symbols (e.g. cigarettes) or photos on apparel
- Shirts with straps should have a minimum one inch wide strap with no undergarment showing
- No cleavage or underwear may be visible
- No bare midriffs (no skin visible between shirt and pants)
- No sagging pants on or below the hip bone
- No headgear (exceptions made for religious headgear only)
- Your clothing should cover your leg the length of your arm with fingers extended at your side
- No more than two pieces of red or blue apparel (red and blue stitching count)
- No red or blue shoe laces or red/blue army surplus style belts
- No gang-associated clothing or symbols: area codes, old English writing, Shark City, S, N, crown with three points, a red or blue colored t-shirt worn around the neck, San Jose, etc.
Any student violating the dress code will be required to either:
- Go home immediately and change, or Change into and wear school-provided clothing
