Students who are taking an AP class next year for English, US History, a science, or a world language need to attend mandatory meetings at lunch to pick up summer work for each class on the following dates:

Attention students: Come to Guitar Palouza, on Wednesday, May 22 during lunch in the amphitheater.  You will hear the talents of our Fremont High School guitar class and some special guests.   Bring your lunch and enjoy! (J. Howard)

Come to the 10th annual Fremont High School Choir Spaghetti Dinner Concert on Wednesday, May 29 in the Fremont cafeteria, from 6:00 -7:30 pm. There will be live entertainment, all you can eat pasta salad and bread and special visit from our Columbia middle school choir.  Don’t miss out.  Tickets at the door with a suggested $7 donation. Attention female Firebirds: If you plan to be on the tennis team, JV or varsity next year, then you must attend a mandatory informational meeting during lunch on Friday, May 24 in room 23.  We will be discussing summer conditioning and practices.  (J. Musser)

Attention all current sophomores:  The class of 2015 will be meeting today in room 30 during lunch.  At this meeting we will be discussing what class theme we should have! So class of 2015, make sure to attend the meeting during lunch in room 30. (S. Larson)

Are you interested in playing badminton?  The Sixth Annual Student Teacher Tournament will be on May 24th in the large gym after school.  Admission will be $4 for students and $6 for teachers.  There will be prizes! Sign up with any badminton player today! (J. Lin)
 

Hey Firebirds:  Do you want to go swimming and enjoy the warm weather?  Come out to the FHS pool on Friday, May 24 at 3:30 pm.  Admission is free, so bring all of your friends!  Hope to see you there! Don’t miss out!(G. Haworth)
 

Attention athletes: QuickCycle Photo will be accepting photo orders, it’s never too late to order pictures.  Please bring your order forms to the main office.  Great action pictures of all 2012-13 sports seasons are available for viewing and purchase via the FHS Athletic Boosters online photo page.  To view the pictures go to: http://www.fhsab.org/ Obtain the password from your coach, Mr. Ochoa or Mr. Townsend.   Every purchase supports the FHS Athletic Boosters.

Do you want to be a part of the award winning Fremont Color Guard? Do you want to spin a flag or toss a rifle? Do you like to dance? Color Guard might be the right sport for you. The Fremont Color Guard will host a workshop on Tuesday, May 21 in the large gym and then hold auditions on Tuesday, May 28 also in the large gym. The times for both nights will be 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. If you make the group, you will be expected to add into the color guard class. No experience is necessary, just a good attitude and a desire to be a part of an experience of a lifetime!

Attention seniors:  Be sure to log onto Naviance and take the two graduation surveys and obtain a signature from Ms. Villagomez before senior checkout on Friday, May 31. For Naviance assistance, see your guidance counselor or Ms. Villagomez in the college & career center. 
 

Senior check-out day will take place on Friday, May 31:  Please note that all seniors are expected to attend all their classes on that day. Only seniors who do not have a block a 6th block class will be allowed to begin the check-out process at 1:00 pm. (D. Yim)
