Special testing schedule (SBAC) Week of April 21-25


We are now accepting applications for positions of CSF board members for next year. Applications must be completed and turned in to Mrs. Mayuram on or before April 25, 2014 by email or in person (room P3). All applicants must have at least 1 year of membership with CSF, including this current year. Applicants may be interviewed during the selection process. Decisions will be announced mid-May. (P. Congratulations to the following students for acceptance into the third annual The Museums of Los Gatos County-wide Art Competition: Matthew Greene, Sophia Kwon, Yuri Levin and Sandra Sandoval.  The show, entitled, Art is a Conversation will be available for viewing April 25-May 5, 2014 at the Los Gatos Museum of Art. Fremont Firebirds! It is that time of year again to sign up to be a student judge, runner, or greeter for the 7th annual FUHSD EL Speech Contest! Please check your School Loop email or the Newsfeed for more information, and click on the link to sign up. You may earn community service hours for your participation. For questions, email Ms. Tanaban or visit her in room 72 during lunch or office hours. Thank you for your help!

The FHS Featherette Dance Team Tryout dates have been changed due to schedule conflicts, please visit our website for the current dates:
Informative parent meeting Monday April 28 at 6:00pm.   Workshop April 28 - May 1st in the dance room 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm. (M. Mendoza)

Fremont come out and see your fellow students representing us at the district’s Annual Art Showcase at the Sunnyvale Art Gallery:  The showcase runs from April 12 to April 26 and is located across the El Camino from PF Chang’s and is open from 1l:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.  Come on out and support your fellow students. Attention ALL WINTER ATHLETES & families:  Great action pictures of all winter athletic teams are available for your viewing & purchasing.  To view the picture, go to the FHS Athletic Boosters photo website:  Obtain the password from your coach, Ms. Gomez (office), Ms. Moyloi (ASB office), Mr. Puccinelli, Mr. Townsend or the order form you received with your individual pictures. Career Center


Attention seniors:  Please check your emails and portals regularly to keep in communication with the universities’ you've applied to. Make sure you fulfill their requests.   (Mr. Bo)

Attention seniors:  Do you need to take a night school class to make up credits?  See your guidance counselor immediately to sign up for our last night school session.  (Mr. Bo)


Attention Juniors: Do you want to get a head start on planning your college search? If so, your FUHSD and guidance and career counselors are ready to help!  In partnership with the City of Cupertino, we are offering one-week long summer courses in June and July.  The classes meet for two hours on a Monday-Friday schedule at, 8:00 am, 10:30 am, or 1:00 pm.  The cost is $130 per course, but both full and half scholarships are available for eligible families.  Look on the school or district website for registration materials, or speak to a guidance counselor for more information.  The courses fill up quickly so be sure to register at the Quinlan Center in Cupertino by Tuesday, April 22 for your best chance at getting a seat.
