New Bell Schedule 2014-2015

Are you interested in Japanese culture? If so, please come to the Japanese club in room 22 on Wednesday, September 3 at lunch. Everyone is welcome. (A. Gibson)

The watermelons are coming! The watermelons are coming! Thursday, September 4th is the annual Watermelon Run. This Fremont tradition is open to everyone, and all participants get free watermelons at the end. The pool will be open to all students afterwards, too. The race starts at 3:30 on the football field. Plus, we finally get to find out once and for all who is faster: Mr. Kakes or Ms. Stebbins!

Students: Are you interested in a leadership position? The School Site Council has 3 open seats for 9th, 10th, and 11th graders. The Council is made up of FHS staff members, parents, and students and makes decisions about our School Plan. If you're interested in representing the student voice, please come to a brief informational meeting at 11:35 am on Wednesday, September 3rd in the main office. You may also contact Mr. Gonzales with questions. (A. Gibson)

Peer counselors and all who are interested in peer counseling, we will be meeting at 8:00 am, on Wednesday, September 3 in room 76. See you there!  Cindy

Attention College Bound SENIORS: Are you so busy that you dont know when you will write your College Admission Essay?  Do you want help from a highly qualified FUHSD English teacher? If so, the Fall College Essay Workshop might be for you!  In partnership with the City of Cupertino, we are offering after school workshops for five weeks in October.  The classes meet after school from 3:30 to 5:30, one day a week, at all five schools in the district.  The cost is $130 per course, but both full and half scholarships are available for eligible families.  Look on the school or district website for registration materials, or speak to a guidance counselor for more information.  The courses fill up quickly so be sure to register at the Quinlan Center in Cupertino by Thursday, September 11, for your best chance at getting a seat. (J. Maisel)

Students that did not get their picture taken during registration: Picture make up day will be on Friday, September 19 from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm in the FHS library.
