The Regional Occupational Program (ROP) provides students with an opportunity to try on a career. Courses offered provide career/technical skill training and/or on-the-job training with work-based learning. In addition to ROP courses, Work Experience courses allow students to work while in school. This can be an effective way to realize many of the outcomes of high school education. Guided or supervised work is recommended for those making this choice.
